Draught at Sct. Clemens. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma. Ugly aroma of soap and bad cheese, probably (and typical at Sct Clemens) due too the yeast. Moderate bitter flavor, average finish. Creamy palate. I really dont like this type of yeast, sorry. Otherwise it is really good beer! I couldnt detect either Mælkebøtte or eucalyptus!

Draught at brewpub. Clear golden colour with a smal white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, spice, fruit and hops with floral notes

Draught at the brewpub, Apollo Mælkebøttebryg, 6%.
Poured a full golden body, the palest of the three I’ve had that day. Thick white head. Sweet malty nose, a bit rubbery, yeast, DMS. Sweet grainy fail of a taste, DMS, beets and odd carroty notes. Complex but, as I said odd.

Draught at the brewpub, sold as mælkebøttebryg. Shared with Mikkel. Clear golden with a decent white foemy head. Aroma was spicy with notes of ginger and fresh leaves. Quite bitter flavor, sharp herbal bitterness at that with just a light sweetness.

This one was sold as Apollo Mælkebøtteøl. A dark golden beer with a good lasting and dense head. The aroma is butter, sweet pilsener malts and flowers. Taste is pilsener malts, caramel, bitterness with a a touch of rancidness which was probably from eucalyptus, and some buttercups and other roadside ditch. too. Medium body and quite neutral mouthfeel. I am thinking a flowery and rancid heller bock here.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy eucalyptus aroma with some floery hints. Fruity spicy eucalyptus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy finish.

[ As Apollo Den Tasmanske Djævel ]. Unclear medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, spicy, flowers, eucalyptus, light buttery. Flavor is moderate to light light sweet and spicy - eucalyptus bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090613]

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours light unclear golden with a small creamy white head. Quite one dimensional beer. Lots of herbs/spices. Baking powder, mint , eucalyptus and basil. Medium and smooth palate. Taste is sweet and again quite spicy. It works OK and its quite quaffable.

Tap at the brewpub in Copenhagen, June 2009. As «Tasmansk Djævel». Hazy golden orange color, fine white head. Aroma is fruity and malty with some hops. Flavor is sweet malty and fruit, citrus, moderate hops, almost no bitterness.

As Tasmansk Djævel
Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Hoppy, citrus, butterscotch scent. Herbal, hoppy, lemon, citrus taste. Medium mouthfeel, low to medium low bitterness.

Draught@brewpub (as Den Tasmanske Djaevel, 5.6%). Golden colour, huge off-white foamy head. Aroma is very spiced (clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus), malts and yeast. Flavour is fruits, spices and yeast. Quite balanced, though quite extreme flavours.
