Tap @ Apollo, Cph.
Pours a nice, deep amber with a medium, staying, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has soft caramel, light butter, some hay and grassy hops. High carbonation, frothy mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, some diacetyl, soft dry hoppiness. But it starts far too sweet for its own good.

fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - FEB 6, 2008
Draught at the brewpub Sct. Clemens, Århus, 7.1% ABV
Dark brown color; big creamy head. It has a very nice caramel aroma, perfumy, raising expectations. Unfortunately the mouthfeel is medium strong and there are not much sugars left; and the flavor is based on a very dark caramel, with too much black malt too, something that is not on top of my preferences. At the end it gets a bit smoother and warming. Not bad, even if not the kind of beer that I like.

On tap at Apollo. Poured almost clear, with a bronze color and a nice, dense, beige head. A bit vague aroma, mostly fruity from the hops, and could use more maltyness. Tropical fruityness in the flavor, with a rounded bitterness that continues into the finish. There’s a little warming alcohol touch to it as well, coming stronger in the finish. For an oktoberfestbeer it is low on the maltyness and heavy on the hops, but it was quite drinkable. (071006)

Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 25, 2007
Draft. A hazy deep red beer with a orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity as well as light notes of alcohol, spices, and diacethyl - reminds me more of an ale than a lager. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of alcohol and berries, as well as a light touch of diacethyl, leading to a dry fruity finish. Not as clean as a lager usually is - reminds me more of an ale.
