ABV: 9.4%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, creamy - frothy, fully lacing, fully lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, berry, some thing odd ! Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, tart, roasted, sweet chocolate - dark malt, acidic licorice, salty, moldy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130108]

Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown beer with a nice beige/brownish head. Malty roasted chocolate aroma, licorice and coffee, vanilla and cream notes, caramel, smoked notes, caramel and some tar. Bitter coffee flavor, smoked, caramel, tar, soot, burnt wood, some dark fruits, dark chocolate, sweetish notes, well hidden alcohol.

Draught at the brewpub. Black beer with a bigbeige/brown head. Chocolate and cocoa aroma, roasted, licorice and vanilla notes, hops, figs and a bit roasted. Cocoa flavor, chocolate, hops, metal, roasted, mailk and vanilla notes. Hoppy roasted finish with cocoa and sweet fruits. Blanced and with alcohol well hidden. Best beer from this brewery so far...

Draught. Low creamy but long lasting brown head. Very dark clear brown body. Sweet malty liquorice coffee caramel aroma and flavor. Alcohol well hidden. A bit too sweet for my taste though. Low carbonation. Long sweet finish.

Highish carbonation, oily and fat mouthfeel. Flavour is roasted, nutty, smoked, dry. Light astringent with some notes of prunes and blackberries. Lingering malty bitter finish.

Pours deep brownish black with a small, staying, creamy, light-brown head. Aroma has smoke, chocolate, mild roasted malts, softly vinious and some light hazel. Highish carbonation, light and mildly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is subtly smoky, sharply roasted, dark chocolate. Mild vinious. Malty bitter, lingering dry finish with dark chocolate and cocoa-powder. Well balanced.
