Hazy copper color. The aroma shows a very nice crispy malt and let’s hope for something great; indeed the flavor is not bad (maybe it takes some time to get a rounder mouthfeel), but not exceptional. The thing that disappoints me a bit is the bitterness: quite harsh (too long hop infusion?). Pleasant.

2003-05-14, draught at Copenhagen beerfestival as Sct. Clemens Pilsner, 7-4-5-3-13=32
Golden color, hazy. Nice aroma; some malt and hop, fruity. Too dry taste, not enough malt nor hop. Ordinary palate. Less interesting than the Apollo.

2003-01-07, draught at the Apollo brewpub, 8-5-8-5-16=42
Rather dry taste, with an impressive hop character, not too bitter, but a lot aromatic, and a bit fruity. Compared to <a href=’http://www.ratebeer.com/ShowBeer.asp?BeerID= Dunkles it’s more aggressive and the body weaker, compared to <a href=’http://www.ratebeer.com/ShowBeer.asp?BeerID= Italiano Tipopils it has more malt and less hop, fruiter and less herbal. Maybe too much aggressive with the high carbonation, and still a bit metallic; with less carbonation, it’s sweeter than the Tipopils and the malt is more evidentiated.
When warmer, the score may even be 10/5/9/5/18!

2002-07-14, draught at the Apollo brewpub, 9-5-8-5-16=43
Gold color, thick and generous head. Wonderful and deep hop aroma. Very good mix of malt and hop, good body, rather dry. Good hop palate, well aromatic, medium-long, with a residual sweetness/smoothness.
A surprisingly good pilsner.

[5/9/12] Draught sample at the brewpub in Copenhagen. Clear golden. Grainy aroma with some diacetyl, hay notes and a bit of hops. Sweetish grainy flavor with some butter and a bitter finish. Light-medium-bodied.

On tap at the brewpub. Soft, cereals, mild bitterness. Unlikely to offend, unlikely to excite anyone.

Not a bad little pils. A mild presence of hop, bread and malt. A tiny bit of corn taste which I don’t like, but it was decent.

From tap @ Apollo, Copenhagen. This is a near clear golden beer with a nice lacing white head. Fruity and mild yeasty on the aroma. Some cacti with hops and malts. Nice pilsner aroma. A bit soft on the carbonation and a mild oily mouthfeel. Nice and pilsner-hoppy-bitter, malty with tones of sweetness. Yeah. Light drinkable pilsner with some actual flavor! 06.01.2012

Nose is fat notes of semisweet malt, celery, weak sweet piss, late weak soap, feel is medium, carb is medium, taste is decent pilsner malt bitter, some cereal, sweets and a very mellow hops finish.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and floral hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

5/10 i mörkhet. Lite maltig i lukten. Milt krämig i smaken med en lätt besk eftersmak. en okej lager.

@Sct. Clemens and Hereford many times. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Soft with a light bitter finish. Not much bitterness for a pilsner. 171109

On tap. Bit hazy yellow with a medium white head. Flowery and light hoppy aroma. The flavour has some caramel, hops and some floral notes.

Fra fad, dufter af humle,flot gylden farve, med hvidt skum, smager ok af humle, fylde som en pilsner. i alt en ok pilsner.
