Draft at Sct Clements, Aarhus. This beer was not really the highlight of my 6,000-mile journey to Denmark. Pours an oily, hazy amber. This is a pilsner? No head. Big sweet vegetal and buttery nose. Kinda like artichokes dipped in popcorn butter. Slick medium body, low carbonation. Tangy cardboard mid palate with artichokes and butter. Long buttery finish.

Keg at the brewpub, RBESG ’15 day 2, 21/08/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is cereal, grain, light bread, straw. Taste comprises grassy notes, touch of caramel, bread dough, vague citric tones. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pils.

On tap at the restaurant at Tivoli in Copenhagen. Very light smell with some bread. Bready and light fruity taste. A bit artificial. Fairly smooth. Light bitterness but more then the other three beers I had here. Very light beer, didn’t stand out.

Look; off white layer, pale straw body. Aroma; spices, candies, toffee, malts. Taste; caramel, malts, toffeefee, dusty hops behind - leading to a easy sweet finish with light malts and grass. Light body, summer feel, good enough. [15cl taster "Flakhaven Pilsner" @ Flakhaven Odense DK, T@Ferie2015]

Damn, another one... I’ll have to recheck my entire journey’s worth of notes. Lost rating from my Denmark/Sweden/Norway trip in September 2010. Maybe when I visited it with Papsoe (and potential thanks? :)). Golden body, big head that went away slowly (damn... proud I managed to decipher my shorthand here... BhSlo (FFS Marko, FFS)). Light grainy nose. Nice grainy taste, quite nice graininess, vague hop bitterness. Something else that might be herbal acidity?!?, which I found nice?!? Overall not too special, but a solid beer.

Gylden brun tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Malt, frukter og kornlukt. Fyldig pilsner med smak av en del humle samt korn og noe frukt. Medium kullsyre.
