Tap @ Apollo, Cph. Pours dark brown with a firm, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has chocolate, herbs, a slight touch of butter. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, lots of roasted malts, light smoke and nuts, fine balanced bitterness. Nice.

Unclear dark brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, berry, tart notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, chocolate, coffee, cacao, english licorice,late finish is quit bitter and dry. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20131106]

Draught at the brewpub. Clear red-brown coloured with a huge beige head. Light roasted aroma of hay, caramel and licorice. Light roasted flavour of caramel and hay with notes of dark chocolate and sloes. Roasted finish.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark beige head. The aroma has notes of sloe berries, roasted malt, bread, and a bit of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with nottes of roasted malt, sloe berries, and bread, leading to a dry and bitter finish.
