(On tap) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy with a creamy head leaving a fine lacework. Very distinct malt character without being sweet. Very dry - but not really bitter - hoppy finish. Very quenching indeed. 220505

A hazy orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and slightly acidic, and so is the flavor, which also contains notes of wheat.
Earlier Rating: 4/20/2005 Total Score: 2.9
An unclear dark orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet spicy, combined with notes of banana, peach, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and coriander - the wheat giving it a slight sourness, leading to a dry end. Not nearly as good as the Apollo version of the same beer - it tastes more like a wit than a kölsch.
Earlier Rating: 3/10/2005 Total Score: 3.3
An unclear orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is malty, flowery, and yeasty. The flavor is very sweet and quite flowery combined with notes of oranges and yeast. The end is dry.

Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2005
Draught at Apollo Bryggeri, Copenhagen.
Fluffy off-white head, slightly hazy orange golden body. Sweet and pretty full in the aroma. Buttery and fruity with yoghourt notes. Fresh fruit, oranges and apricot, dominates the flavor. Notes of pilsener malt with a good bitter end. Rather sharp and not the most balanced but all right taste and pretty refreshing. Medium body.
