500 ml bottle in Germany. Bottle labeled as "Apostel Weisse" confirmed that it is the same as La Bianca. Pours a normal hazy hefe look with full head. Lots of dark brown yeast pieces floating there as well. Aroma is grapes, bananas and yeast. Taste is sour grapes, fruit, and bananas. Palate is watery and light for this type of beer. This is a strange beer as a Hefe, however it is good.

(bottle, as Weißbräu Müller La Bianca) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blonde foamy white head. Yeasty, slightly sweet and acidic wheat-malty aroma with notes of citrus and green bananas. Citrus-fruity and wheaty taste, slightly acidic flavour, light bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Dry, fruity and acidic, slightly tart finish. Could be better rounded, at least a refreshing Weizen (15.II.09).

Bottle. Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeast, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (020508)

500ml bottle at Reading BF 08. I had this down as Apostel Weisse but at the same ABV and definitely the same brewery. Hazy gold. Thick off white head. Clove spice, cereal. A little thin in mouth. Cereal bubblegum. OK, but a little down on depth, decent citrus finish. Bit sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2007 Drank on its "best before day". I’ve found it very aromatic, a sort of gentle round sweetness, absolutely not cloying, yet inviting and refreshing in mouth. Light fruity and just an hint of yeast. With the right appearance, one of the best weizen i had so far.

Light hazy golden coloured, huge soapy white head, acidic wheaty nose. Wheaty and mild yeasty aroma with fresh citric notes. Mild wheaty finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a neat, creamy head and a distinct yeast sediment. Outspoken, lightly sweet banana aroma. Medium-bodied with soft, wheaty notes, some yeast and sweet banana notes. Very soft and pleasant mouthfeel. Thanks to Beerole for sharing. 271206
