Cloudy brown with a fast-settling head, aromas of bread and a little orange juice, cloves and orange on the palate, vaguely reminiscent of mulled ale. Oddly pleasant.

Schon speziell, aber diese Dinkelaromen, die durchkommen sind schon speziell. Darüberhinaus vernünftige Perlung, natürlich getreidig, würzig. Voll ok.

Pours a hazy amber-golden color, topped with a rather medium sized white head. Malty aroma, some bready notes and bananas in there too. Taste is mild and sweet, some grains and bready feel. Slight soury feel in teh finish. I guess it’s not that bad.

The beer has got a hazy brown colour with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of grains and bread. Taste of grains, bread, straw and dust. Boring.

0.33l pour from refrigerated bottle into a glass beer goblet. Amber, clear, plentiful carbonation, only a hint of a fizzy white head. Nose is strong. Very doughy with some caramel and maybe some hay. Fairly light body. Unobtrusive. Taste is a bit sweet, but not overly. Bready up front, to a dry grassy taste, to a little bit of a carbonated bite on the end. Overall, just alright.

Bottle at the inlaws. Dark golden with white head. Aroma and taste has bitter and astringent malt, light tartness, grass, hay and slight vegetables. Tastes off.

Bottle 0,33L. Dark gold, hazy colour with small, creamy, white head and lively visible carbonation. Aroma of banana and wheat. Taste is light sour and refreshing. Medium to full body, oily texture (but kinda bubbly), lively carbonation. Better than my expectation were.

Bottle 50cl. (from gourmeo24.com). Dinkel is the German word for spelt (Triticum spelta). Unclear medium amber, when the sediment is added it becomes murky light brownish, small frothy off-white head that sizzles away quickly, light lacing; aroma malty, wheat, bit toasted, yeast, bit sourish; taste is medium sweet and light sour; light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, aftertaste medium sweet and sour, yeasty notes; kind of weizen but different, decent beer.
