Gold blonde beer, reasonable dense head. Aroma is very fresh, like grass, a bit grains, some llime Taste is smooth, fresh, slightly bitter, nice beer, like a very smooth pilsnrer but finer. Medium body, a bit dry towards the end.

Bottle 50cl. Looks like an ordinary Hefeweizen but the nose is absolutely astonishing. Grainy, malty, burnt malt, caramel. Wonderful dense and intense mouthfeel. Really a class of its own and not just a freak brew. Great stuff!

This was at a beer tasteing in Mackenrodt. Has a sweet banana wheat malt taste and aroma. Malt flavor and a light sweet, bitter finish.

Bottle from 04 June 2011, m.h. bis 18.12.11. Sweet grainy sticky malt nose with a touch of dark earth and perhaps acid. Airy. Pours an ugly golden-brown, cloudy, with a loud sudsy pearl head. Taste is at once sharp and acidic but mollified by warm, comforting amber waves of bread. Fizzy and a little slick in medium mouthfeel at times, has the sort of latent platinum fruitiness sometimes found in sparkling wines. Seems like there’s a lot of variance in a project like this, but this bottle succeeded. Nice little treat.

Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011

Bottle. Hazy yellow with thin white head. Stale aroma of old lemon and dusty hops. Soapy taste. Very weak finish. Fresh bottle but not a good beer.

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow with white head. Aroma of stale wheat and cereal. Quite grainy and acidic with not a whole lot of complexity. Not fresh at all and really quite stale. Light bodied. Finishes watery and weak. Very boring unfortunately.
