Bottle from Wegmans Williamsport. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Big chocolate on the nose and tongue with just a hint of sweetness that seems reminiscent of lactose. Finsh lingers a bit. One of the better beers I’ve had from these guys.

ryanscourt (278) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2013
Dark brown, sweet chocolate smell. Resembles a milk stout. Nice heavy creamy body. Significant hop finish to balance, maybe even a little too much.Best part of the experience is the creamy chocholate mid palate. Thought this was a solid attempt.

bubbleflubber (1423) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Bomber from the brewery. Pours the deepest mahogany into the glass, with a tan head that diminishes, leaving spotty lacing. The nose is of definitive roasts and muddy chocolates. Flavors are sweet, of mixed dark and milk chocolates, with some light roasted nuttiness, dark cherries and finishing with a balancing roasted bitter and unfettered cocoa. This is a good example of the sweet stout style. Accompanied by a smooth mouthfeel and creamy palate, it goes down well and makes for a nice nightcap without being boozy.

watson1977 (2291) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2013
pours dark brown/black with a medium mocha head. aroma has roasty chocolate and nuttiness...almost peanut butter. flavor follows suit...more nutty than i expected for a sweet stout or "chocolate" stout but tasty...good roastiness. mouthfeel is medium/full and the finish is roasty/coffee/nutty.

alobar (2300) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Pours deep black with a creamy tan head that vanishes quickly. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and hint of coffee. Solid lacing. Lots of chocolate flavor with roasted malt, and some molasses. Creamy body. Very nice.

DocLock (6800) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bomber. Pours thick dark black with minimal tan head. Nose is choc malt, molasses, some roastiness. Tastes somewhat dry, with dark choc notes, some molasses, hops, and medium palate heft with a dessert beer quality.

italianjohn (2026) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Black pour with a khaki head and light sticky lacing .... Aroma of cocoa, some bitter chocolate and roasted malts .... Taste is of cocoa, roasted and chocolate malts with a light bitter bite ... mouthfeel is thin ... has an off flavor like cheap chocolate you would get at easter time .... cocoa flavor does give it a sort of decent flavor
