This India Pale Ale is an exciting beer with a floral in aroma and an incredible hop flavor. The maltiness is increased (over a regular pale ale) to help balance the aggressive hop usage. This contributes to the higher alcohol content as well.

Draft in May 2014. Pour was orange with average head and splotchy lacing. Aroma of faint resin, some lighter fruits, floral. Flavor was floral, earthy, herbal, some lighter fruits, light caramel backbone. Mouthfeel was average for the style in body and carbonation. Mediocre.

Draft at Camp Hill brewpub. Pours a clear gold color with a 1/2" white head that disappears leaving a thin film. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine and resin with a hint of malt. Medium body, taste leans more to the hop side than the malt but not overwhelming. Dry finish. Not great, but I've had worse. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 9-23-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a clear golden-orange color with a huge white head. The head fades rather slowly as it is quite thick and leaves a nice level of lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell - The aroma is heaviest of a biscuit and pine nature. Mixed with these aromas are some lighter notes of a citrus and earthy nature. Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and bready base with a nice dose of citrus hop flavor. Initially it is also sweetened with some lighter fruit flavors up front. As the taste advances it dries out some with more hop flavors come to the tongue. At the end, some heavier notes (but not too heavy) of a pine and earthy hop flavor come to the tongue, leaving a slightly bitter flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side; decent creaminess with a light chewiness. The carbonation is on the average side as well. Fairly nice for the hop flavors but maintaining a good drinkability. Overall – A decent IPA with some nice pine flavors.

Hazed amber appearance with an average size off white head and spotty lacing. Subtle aroma paired floral hops with toasted malts. Pairings are fairly balance in the flavor as well but lean towards the hops, especially in the dry, bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel with an average length finish.

Bottle to tumbler. Pours cloudy amber, quickly fading head, a little lacing. Aroma is herbal, grassy and spruce. Taste is slightly sweet, bitterness is very earthy, English hops stand out. Medium body, low carbonation, a little juicy. Finish is herbal/earthy bitter. Seems like an English style IPA. Not bad.

Nice easy drinking English IPA, but a little limp on all fronts. Still worth getting a pint.

Small white head with fair retention and spotty lacing. cloudy, orange/gold hued brew. Nose is slightly fruity with some berry notes and musty malts. Body is almost medium, sprightly carbonation, light astringency. Musty malt flavors along with some over ripe pineapple notes that end up in a fairly dry, too long finish. Erf. Ok label, standard US longneck. Light honey gold, hazy, thin white head. Nice, sweetish-nutty aroma with tinges of implied coconut. Grassy at times, moderately bitter with some lemon pith. Generally pretty crisp, the body has a certain starch to it. Thanks to LuckyDoog.
