CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Feb 1, 2008 Pours a transparent mahogany brown with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet toasty dark caramel malts with a touch of peat and light fruits. Body is a little thinner with some mild sweetness and a touch of lemony tartness before a slightly drier toasty finish. A decent and fairly true to style Scottish ale. hopdog (4647), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 12, 2004 On tap at the 2004 Kennett Square BF. Poured a medium amber color with no head. Sweet aroma and tastes. Caramel and toffee.
