Bottle from ABC in Harrisburg. A pleasant malty flavor is here but the finish is a bit watery for the style and the maltiness is not very pronounced. I understand the importance of making a balanced beer which people like but this one is too blase other than some tangyness.

Pours a ruby red color with a small tan head. Great sweet aroma, roasted malts, caramel, like a good dessert. Medium bodied, sweet and tasty, caramel with a malt hit, with a touch of bitterness on the end. One of ABC’s finest.

Had a very hoppy scent to it but didnt really have the hop flavor. A nice sweetness to it that I did not expect. Very happy with this.

Once again, this one brought back from Nashville. Pours a clear brown color. Flavor is sweet malt. Caramel and some chocolate aromas. Light body and a little thin in the flavor. Missing some of the typical scottish ale characteristics.

Bottle. Poured a dark red with a small whitish/tan head. Smooth malty aroma and flavor. Good beer.

I liked this beer. Pours a deep reddish brown with a thin off white head. Almost no hops, but a nice smooth, sweet maltiness. easy drinking, goes down smooth.
