12 oz. bottle courtesy of Naka. Pours ruby read with small khaki head that dissipates to a small riming film. Lots of sweet caramel and biscuit in the nose with a slight crisp hop note. A moderate body with medium carb full of caramel and slight bread and biscuit. Very sweet and malty throughout with a crisp hop finish, with only a slight malt undertone lingering into the after with the mildest bitter. Tasty, sessionable beer.

Pours a dark brown with lt brown head. The aroma is malty with grain and yeast. The taste is sweet and then a light hop finish. Nice beer - smooth and tasty

on tap @ gettysburg... rich amber ’scottish’ color topped by a thin off white head. nice aroma of red apple, spice, rich caramel/toffee, nutty and a touch of wood/peat. the flavor is pretty much the same... surprisingly good. it reminds me of kiltlifter kicked up a notch. medium to full bodied and slick for being so ’light’. this is really quaffable and pairs great with just about any food or foodstuff...

(USA) Courtesy of AFI96, thx !!! Pours a ruby color with a dissipating white head. Aroma of caramel and bread, the taste was disappointing because of the lack of flavor, but overall very drinkable.

12oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours deep garnet with thin off-white head. Simple smell of biscuit and caramel. Flavor is similar, a bit too sweet. Decent session beer but nothing that knocks my socks off.

Dark amber color that fizzed out pretty quick once in the glass. Aroma of caramel and malt with a sweet malty flavor. Good tasting brew.
