On cask, at Camp Hill location. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber body with a creamy one finger beige head. The nose is all malt, slightly sweet and toasty with some burnt caramel (maybe that’s the molasses?). The flavor is a good bit sweeter than the regular Jolly Scot, which I usually find to be a bit thin and grainy. It’s still a bit thin, but the molasses gives it a bit of a smoother and fuller feel. Soft cask conditioning helps make this a bit more enjoyable as well. Nice lingering sweetness that doesn’t go overboard and get too sticky. Pretty nice overall, not real exciting, but the molasses and the handpump did add to the base beer.
