acrdz (4406), Boulder, Colorado, USA Feb 1, 2008 Draft at the Harrisburg brewery, second day of the keg, very fresh. Dark, hazy rusty orange and amber brown in color, with a solid tan head. Nose of faint fruity yeast esters, red apple, oranges and crackers. Fresh, frothy, crunchy, estery, with a bready apple bake abd biscuit malt flavor, and a light sharpness on the tongue. Snappy and dry like saltine crackers in the finish. Interesting, and one of the better beers by Appalachian, and it doesn’t have their typical watery thin texture. Nejhleader (791), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 7, 2007 brown colour, doesn’t have much of an initial taste, but has a strong aftertaste of barly/malt. easy drinking, but not the best.
