On draft at the Drafting Room, Spring House. Pours dark amber, with minimal head. Aroma of malt, toffee, slight dark fruit and hops. Medium, smooth finish. Not as firm as I like, but not bad.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 egajdzis (4896) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 20, 2004
Poured a reddish copper color with little to no off white head and no lacing on the glass. Sweet caramel, herbal, light smoke, spicy, nutmeg aroma. Mild taste, chewy malt dominant, very light citrus hop. Taste was watery, and the flavor did not hold up.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2004
Orange colored brew with bright white head. Kinda weak aroma... a little sweet. Doesn't taste too bad. Some toasted malt taste and maybe a hop but that's it. Alright O-fest.

Tap at the sports bar of ABC- Nice amber color with lots of malty flavors. Aroma is of a typical Oktoberfest. Very smooth and enjoyable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tidiaguy (168) - Hawley, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 3, 2003
Mild malt aroma, nothing stands out kinda plain. Good initial malt flavor but that was about it not much in the middle or finish. I think it could use a little hop flavor or something else to set it off. Not bad but just very plain.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 warrior (213) - Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2003
Nice toasted malt aroma, clear amber orange color. Had a nice toasted malt flavor at first but it lingers on too long. The body was a little thin for a fest beer. A good fest that could use some more body and maybe a little less toasted malt.

Average marzen-style beer, amber in color with nice bubbly white head, pretty light on the hops & the body, thin

Not a bad marzen, but watery. Also, very lite in hops.
