COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Dortmunder-Export style of beer was developed in Westfalen, Germany, and is a classic light lager with great character. This style boasts a light golden blonde color and exhibits a moderate hop palate. The finish of our Mountain Lager is rich yet mellow.

My buddy brought this beer home in a growler that looked like a hobbit’s lantern. Pours crystal clear with a thin layer of head. Tastes crisp and clear, agood lager.

Draft at the brewpub in Gettysburg. Pours perfectly clear pale gold with a thin white head. Tastes like malt, musk, and skunky beer. Light body and low carbonation. Not much aroma, hints of grains.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy, golden blonde with a thin, meager head that quickly dissipates. Faint aroma of white bread. Taste is light and crisp, settling into a creamy, lemony sweetness on the palate. Refreshing, but otherwise unremarkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Moderately bitter up front, this beer develops a grainy, biscuit-like flavor towards the back. However, it’s so light in flavor, you almost miss the whole thing. They really needed to add more to this beer.

Pours a pale yellow with a fizzy head that leaves almost no lacing. The nose is of a macro corn plasticity. Flavors are similar, of sweet adjunct corn and timid grains to finish. It "feels" like a macro lager... too "corn" sweet, fizzy carbonation, light seltzer mouthfeel and a plastic effervescence. I so wanted to like it more, but honestly, I just can’t.

Poured from a bottle. Pale gold, virtually no head. Aroma is earthy with some malt and yeast. Taste is on the sweet side, but rather bland. Light to medium body with low carbonation. Goes down smoothly, but not a beer I’d try again.

A typical lager with a slightly different taste. I can't put my finger on what the slight taste is but it isn't terrible ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sigh, I’m not sure why I expect much from a flagship lager.. this one tasted like macro swill. Pale yellow straw color, corn nose... bleh.
