Sampled at 4th NoVA Summer Brewfest. Pours clear gold with a spare, fizzy white head, spare retention and lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, straw, meal), spicy hops, and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant, clean lager, and lightly fruity. Medium body, light warmth and carbonation with a sweet finish.

Gold pour, soapy white head. Skunky sweet aroma. Wheat thins, caramel. Flavor is sweet malts up front, very light hops. Prickly carbonation. Cereal grains...boring.

hopscotch (9041) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 30, 2003
Crystal clear, straw-colored beer. The white head is small, creamy and fully lasting head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is lightly malty, citrusy and lightly floral. A little white pepper thrown in the nose as well. The flavor is lightly to moderately malty up front with a hint of lemon and grapefruit. Balanced out even more nicely on the backside with lightly bitter hops and a short burst of light, malty butterscotch or toffee. Light to medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crips, lightly pungent and dry finish. Not really my style, but a fine beer nonetheless.
