COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Dortmunder-Export style of beer was developed in Westfalen, Germany, and is a classic light lager with great character. This style boasts a light golden blonde color and exhibits a moderate hop palate. The finish of our Mountain Lager is rich yet mellow.

This is a great lager. Sweet flavour without an aftertaste. What stands out with this one is that there is a definite lager flavour, unlike the "big three" This one is NOT watered down like the tradiditional lagers out there. This has more flavour than Yuengling (and I love Yuengling).

Poured light gold with nice white head. Has a bit of sweet grassy flavor. Quite tasty actually. I usually pick up a six pack of this every year. It is quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Sour milk malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head and light effervescence. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt flavor with a lightly bitter hay hops finish. Nice body. Great beer.

12oz bottle, solid lager here. Color is golden throughout, head is visable and forms a solid ring around the glass with an island hannging out in the middle. Taste is a bit hoppy, a bit pale, and a very easy. A gem for a moderate drinker. Easy on the pallate this brew can flow through mountains. I especially enjoyed the abundant golden color whihc prospered vivantally within the brew. Fresh and enjoyable, this is a beer for the minds.

12oz bottle. Bright golden color, white head that hangs on. Crisp and refreshing. Is it a Munich Helles, a Bohemian Lager or a Festbier? Doesn’t matter - it’s good.

Draft at the brewery. Surprisingly good lager. Beautiful amber body, crystal clear, small white head, fantastic lacing. Surprisingly long finish, surprisingly long hoppy finish in particular, given the low (about 12) IBU.

Tap at LV brewfest 04. Golden clear, white head. Malty clean with a slight hop. Crisp and dry. Decent German lager.
