3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber colored with a thin white head. High in hop bitterness, but not a lot of hop aroma or flavor. Still a good double IPA.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. Pours clear dark gold. Light white head. First smell, yup, thatís a double ipa. Strong hoppy flavor. Admittedly ipa is not my drink. A light bitter finish after a woody hop ride

Aroma is grainy, bready, fruity and hoppy along with some vegetal notes, light sugary sweetness and a bit of alcohol. Flavourís fruity and hoppy but also bready. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Average to medium bodied. Itís good, not great, just good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Amber. Very malty with some citrus and a lot of tea. Usually this isn't my type of IPA but, this one is perfect for the fall. The malt shines over the crisp hops. Very good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served on-tap at the original Cameron Street location into a standard pint.
A - Pours amber orange with a small one finger tall white head leaving light lacing down the glass.
S - Smells of sweet caramel malt, light citrus twang; most notably orange; and some dulled citric hops. If this is a double IPA then their single is a pale ale.
T - Starts off with a light caramel sweetness from the malt quickly giving way to a mix of light citric hop bitterness and some citric fruit. Finish is a mix of light hop bitterness and caramel sweetness. Not the worst I have had but far from the best.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Not much bitterness in the feel with some light caramel malt lingering thru the finish.
O - Not too bad. I am not sure what makes this one a "Double IPA" as it really doesnít taste like one. I actually think they should scrap their single IPA, Hoppy Trails, and replace it with this one.
