Growler from Camp Hill Brewery. Clear Brownish-Orange Hue. The only ABC brew with a good hop presence (including their Hoppy Trails IPA, which is weak in the hops department) - and this this brew at 8% ABV, I would hope the hops shine through. A bit harsh, with a distinctive alcohol aftertaste. Still, the citrus hop flavor comes through loud and clear, and while there are better double IPA’s out there, this one does the job.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper with a tall active slightly off-white head that lasts long and laces very well. The aroma is simple, and somewhat faint for the abv. Pale malt with some pine hops, but not much complexity in either. Smells like a good normal pale ale actually. The flavor is nice, but not what I look for in an IIPA. There is a definite resinous, lasting bitterness, and piny hops. But, it is equal malt as hop. It tastes more like many brewing companies’ interpretation of "Imperial Red" or "Imperial Pale Ale." Regardless, it is tasty. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Overall: good beer, but not an outstanding IIPA.

Tap at Blue Dog. Pours a lightly hazy orange with a medium off white head. Aroma of caramel, a little musty/cardboard and a lot of orange/hop notes. Flavor of citrusy hops, light pine, caramel, nuts and a moderate hop bitterness.

Pours hazy brownish orange, with little white head. Very mild aroma of, well beer. Tastes malty at first then a grapefruit and grass finishing it out. Not a bad drink.

Draft in Gettysburg. Super hoppy with a ton of bitter, herbal character. Alcohol not too noticeable but packs a punch afterwards. Great IIPA.

Pours an intense amber with a thin white head. Smells of mild and refreshing grapefruit, small amounts of lemon and orange. Taste is of grapefruit, but with enough light sweetness to balance. Good, but nothing new here.
