3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown with thin fine tan/brown head that dissipates to nothing quickly. Smells evenly of chocolate, roastiness, coffee, and refreshing hops. Flavor: the sweet chocolate hits first, then comes a nice mild roastiness thatís more like the burnt stuff on marshmallows than coffee, and after a couple sips you get the refreshing hops, which I might even relate to mint in the context. Both substantially tasty and quaffable. Everlything I like about dark beers can be found here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler from the Camp Hill location, consumed within a few hours of the fill. Pours ruby hued dark brown with tan head. The aroma is ashy with some chocolate, caramel, and marshmellow. The flavor is ash, roasty coffee, and a little bit of toffee. Some earthy hops and a few anise notes come out later. Smooth drinker, though not mindblowing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft- nicely done porter- a bit sweeter than their stout and lacking that roast flavor- more chocolate and coffee going on. But I preferred the stout.
