COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Czechoslovakian style Pilsner is golden in color and hopped with a bunch of genuine Czechoslovakian Saaz hops. These hops provide a special floral aroma and a delightfully hoppy finish.

Fresh from a growller...good citrus aroma, hops at the forefront of the flavor with some lemon flavor tossed in as well.

Tap at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Clear golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is pale malts, straw, grass, light citric fruit, bread dough. Taste comprises pale malt, caramel notes, bread dough, cereals, lemon rind, sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp dry closure. Ok pils.

Aroma of bananas.which is either the beer or the cleaner used to clean the sampler glass. Pours a pale yellow. Taste is lightly sweet with a slightly bitter noble hop finish.

Draught at the brewpub in Harrisburg. Clear golden color with white head as expected. Lightly bodied. Fairly crisp. Mostly malty. Not overly dry. About what one would expect. Refreshing enough.

Medium gold, just a hair darker than the dortmunder Mountain Lager. White head. Very dead aroma, light lager/sulfur smell, faint grass. Flavor is a moderate fresh grass, faint grain, light bitterness, hint of nutty malt. Smooth palate, lightly carbonated for the style. Good! Better than the Mountain Lager. Lost points for boring aroma, perhaps it needs a decoction, or just a better base grain (ABC used the same hybrid base malt for every single one of its brews).

Didn’t do too much for me, actually didn’t even finish the bottle. Soapy aroma, thin head. Some pale malt flavor, thin, watery. Just not a lot going on.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear and clean yellow gold with a medium sized beige head. Big grain and citrus and black pepper. Crisp and clean crackers and peppery grain. Medium bodied. Grainy, very soft and very clean. Quite well executed.

Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Light medium malt, floral hops aroma. Semi sweet start with a dry finish and a very light bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Good refreshing beer.

kramer (4690) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow gold with a wispy white head. Minimal nose, some light grassy hops with a perfumy like quality and just a little pils malt. The flavor is not very clean or crisp. A little husky with minimal grassy hops on the finish. A little bit of a solvent like note on the finish. Medium bodied, a little heavy, with fizzy carbonation and a short finish. Not the best effort here, it just wasn’t very clean.

12oz bottle from a sampler pack. Pours a honet-gold color with a big fluffy white head. Earth &grass nose. Nice mouthfeel. Saaz evident. Some malt sweetness, but not as much as say, Pilsner Urquell. Still, a nice pilsner.

On tap at main brewery. Not a very distinguishable beer. Rather bland and sour. Couldn’t put my finger on whether it was trying to be European style or American.
