651mL thanks to argo0. Clear ruby with large beige foam. Nose is sharp spiced hazelnut coffee. Taste is lighter, soapy, lemon acidity. Common mistake with coffee beers extracting the roast acidity. Thins out the body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle shared by argo0: Pours a mostly opaque black with a stringy-lacing beige head. Has a sweet lightly roasted dark malty nose with a healthy amount of coffee. Body start with average fullness and a mild dark caramel sweetness with plenty of coffee character before a drier, thinner lingering roasted and dark chocolate finish. Could use a little more body but has nice coffee character.

Bomber from State Line. Nice sessionable stout, coffee-infused and dry. Body and mouthfeel are a little underdeveloped, and the pour too looks like a bold brown (more creamy and oily, please). But it’s a decently well-realized brew, flavorful and satisfying when you’re in the mood for low-ABV roastage.

22oz. Bottle (at 4.6%ABV per the Bottle).: Aroma of espresso, roasting, and cream. Poured pitch black in color with a tiny, tan head that disappeared quickly, except for around the edges. Opaque. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of a perfect cup of coffee; espresso, cream, lactose, and roasting. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Espresso, lactose, roast finish is lightly dry. Is this coffee or beer?

On tap. Pitch black pour, creamy head, small lacing. Aromas and taste filled with dark espresso, cocoa, and other roasted grains. Mostly strong coffee. A little over the top.

On tap at the brewpub. This is real. You could have this for breakfast with an egg Mcmuffin. Pours a deep black with a medium sized beige head. Lovely coffee aromas. Smells like an iced coffee. Roast and malt, lightly sweet, oatmeal. Smooth and gentle roast coffee, long and smooth bitterness. Lovely lingering coffee flavors on the finish. The best brew on my 8 brew sampler that day.

Draft at Collegeville. Poured onyx with brown head. The nose was espresso, patent malt. Had a huge coffee flavor, with a flavor that reminded me somewhat of the Bell’s Java coffee/jalapeno oil taste, with copious amounts of malt to balance. Stays heavy on the coffee, with backup hops and a bitterness that will cause me to warm coffee haters to stay far away from this.
