COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rich dark brew will go down smoothly on cool spring evenings. The addition of raspberry puree near the end of fermentation presents a raspberry sourness to compliment the roasted malts. Brewed with ample amounts of roast and crystal malt, this Imperial Ale is fit for kings. O.G.: 22.5 F.G.: 3.2 IBU: 63 ABV: 10%

Dark brown/black with light brown film on top. Served cold for the style. Aroma is of strong raspberry and some roasty note. Flavor is a fusion of significant raspberry flavor and tartness with a restrained roasty stout. It doesn’t go well. Unlike their cherry-chocolate stout that they brew every year where a subtle tartness compliments the toasted malts, this is way too much fruit with strong tart and also other clear-as-day raspberry flavors. The hops would be on the balanced side if no fruit were present, mainly bittering additions.
