Sampled at the ABC 11th Capital City Brew fest. Poured copper in color with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty subdued notes of lightly smoked malts, and bbq. Tastes of smoke, little bit of wood, with a nice malty base. Nicely carbonated, nice body. Very easy to drink. One of the highlights for me at the fest.

On draught at the Camp Hill ABC. Rauchbier is one of my favorite styles, so I was pleased to see this beer on the list. Pours an amber color, with a small white head. Aroma is definitely smoked, but not overpowering, malty. Body is about right for this style, not thick, easy drinking. Some wood chips, smoked meats here, a nice malt character, just not in the leauge of Schlenkerla though. Could be more over-the-top on the smokienss, for me...

Aroma is full on smoke with bacon, smoke, and that real bbq pit aroma. poured an amber color with a white head with nice lacing. flavor was full on smoke, deep and rich. medium bodied. very good.
