This representation of the classic Irish Dry Stout has a smooth roast flavor due to the use of specially roasted barley. The barley kernels are kilned at very high temperatures until they are dark brown to black in color.

6 oz sampler on tap at their Camp Hill brew pub. Rather smooth and light for a stout. Pours black with a creamy tan head. The aroma/Flavor is of coffee with mild toast and chocolate, and a bit sweet. No residue, not "puffy".

Pleasantly smoky and rich, subtle coffee notes. Really dark, and a decent interpretation of the style. Good.

On tap at brewpub. Black pour with light moka head. Aroma of light coffee, a tad fruity as well, some grain. Taste is grainy, burnt with a light smoky flavor, a bit sweet. Not super dry actually, decent.
