Aug 8, 2007 i thought this was really good. nice thick syrupy body. BIt of a sweet candi aroma, has kinda a honey sweet taste a little bit of candi and maybe an element of spice to it. Very nice brew.

does not count  Jul 23, 2007 No carbonation or head, but a subtle smokey flavor that worked okay with smoked meat. It would make a good marinade or addition to barbecue sauce.

Jul 1, 2007 Gettysburg. Clear with a little bit of chill haze. No head. Mildly effervescent. Sticky and sweet fruit and white grapes up front, honey dew melon makes a brief appearance. Mildly biting and bitter, but underfermented and undercarbonated, which with the heavy body does not come off well, just too heavy and rich. Disappointing.
