2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 alexanderj (3083) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - OCT 13, 2007
On draft in Gettysburg a few months ago. Gold in color, aroma was of wheat, grain and a light banana. Flavor was below average for the style, as was the beer in general. Easy drinking but lacking in great flavor.

Cloudy orange body with a frothy off-white head. Fruity banana aroma. Sweet banana, wheat and light caramel flavor.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 andyhite (308) - Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA - JUL 30, 2007
12oz bottle. "mellow gold" hue (beck). typical head for a hefe. unfortunately, i found more of a grain-dominating aroma than anything else, and airy at best. as far as the flavor is concerned...until the finish i wasn’t sure if it was a hefe or not. that is where the citrus and creamy banana made itself readily available. it scares me that american hefe’s are coming to this. for the sake of conversation, i’ll pretend this beer was just mis-categorized. it’s not a hefe, but it’s rated as such..
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Braudog (5062) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUL 12, 2007
Bottle: Plain jane golden orange, little to no carbonation and just a barest thin foam head. The aroma is musty, almost moldy, with a bit of breadiness, too. The breadiness, thankfully, is what carries in the flavor, with a shadow of yeastiness. Despite the flat appearance, the mouthfeel is fairly nice. (#3016, 7/12/2007)
2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 JFURYCAT (1079) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2007
Bottle from ABC in Harrisburg. The title says it all WATER GAP with some wheat. The aroma has some fruit, grains and sweetness and I’m trying hard to locate the flavors. I like the aroma better than the sip of water which has some wheat, citrus and malt flavors in it but all of it way too minute. This should be categorized as Wheat Lite.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2007
[305-20070509] 12floz (c/o tupalev, w/ him, blankboy, jerc). Not much aroma, some wheat and old fruit. Clear, orange red body with a quick bubbly white head. Watery fruity wheat aroma with a slightly sour aftertaste. Medium body has a bubbly feel. Bland, blended fine.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 emerica56 (600) - Bristol, Rhode Island, USA - MAY 18, 2007
This beer pours a golden color with a good head that sticks around for a while. There is a nice earthy smell to it and some hints of malt. As you sip on it there is some flavors of mild fruits mainly aprocots and other earthy flavors. there is also a nice appealing flavor that is left on the palate.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 jercraigs (6603) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2007
Bottle. Hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Yeasty sweet aroma, light something that may be diacetyl . Sweeet yeasty flavour is dominated by messy muddle grains, touch of wheaty bite, and vagues hint of lemon. Average palate. Poor.

Bottle shared with tupalev, jerc & mabel -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear orange-gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s sour and grainy. Watery, grainy, tart wheat flavour. Light bodied. Yuck, I didn’t like this at all.
