Heerlijk verfrissend fruitbier. Het is altijd afwachten met fruitbier maar deze kan ik iedereen aanbevelen.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Its got a nice taste of apple cider with taste of cinnamon and candy apples. Slightly tart, and the fizz gives off a nice taste one that works.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is fruity and yeasty with coriander and orange. It also has malt. The appearance is yellow white and very cloudy. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s interesting.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
RB BE #800: 25 cL bottle. Pours murky orange with a bubblye white head. Spiced and yeasty apple aroma. Mouthfeel is flat. Flavour is mild spiced and with a light applenote to a strange wheat/spelt like base. Holds a distinct spice note. Ends medium to light acidic apple flavoured. Strange and nothing I could drink much of.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
25 cl bottle. Ritual observed. Hazy gold color with a sturdy beige/tan head. Aroma is apple, but a bit soapy. Medium body with creamy fizzy carbonation. Flavor is apple, but there’s something soapy/odd here. Sweet juice/bitter skin. It’s not really working well for me. It might be great except for that soapy aspect. Which seems to be wearing off with time. Still, not the best experience. The post-finish feel is not all that bad.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
250ml bottle. Disgusting hazy, yellow body. White ring of bubbles on the surface. Sugar sweet aroma. Bittersweet taste of apples. Very sweet. More a soft drink than a serious beer (shared with Finn, Tromsø 16.05.2008).

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2009 On tap in Newcastle.
Apple beer sounds good in theory but pretty dreadfull in reality. Tastes are apple and sweet/sour and not much else, thick cloudy brew looks like it’s fresh from some hillbilly’s bathtub.
Probably the worst beer that I’ve tried, I’m glad it wasn’t my first fruit beer or I’d be put off trying any others for a long time.
