COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A naturally cloudy wheat beer with a subtle sweetness of ripe apples. The serving ritual - half-fill glass, then swirl bottle and top-up glass - this gives the beer its full palette of flavours and unique cloudiness.

(Draught at The Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg, Sweden) Shady white mixed with yellow color. White head. Fresh fruity scent with some apple. Artificial sweet apple flavor. Normal with a twist, spritzy, mouth feel. Low to none bitterness. Refreshing, but non-beer like style.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2006 [Draught at The Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Gothenburg, Sweden] Hazy, light yellow. Fresh aroma with bananas; weissbier. Way to sweet flavour; sugary with a faint note of apples.

Bottled. A very hazy limey yellow coloured beer with a good lasting white head. The aroma is yeasty, wheaty and apply with a touch of spice. The taste is like a hybrid between a Belgin Wit and a very sweet cider; but it works quite well. Certainly not too sweet and really quite refreshing. I expected o dislike this, but no; it’s cool.

Bottled. Solid yellow body, crisp taste, apple is fairly rasping with a little sweetness behind it. Straight out of a cold fridge it’s quite refreshing. Felt a bit queasy when it warmed towards the bottom. Would have no hesitation serving this with desserts in the summer.

Bov (7316) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 5, 2006
a witbier with 30% apple juice - awfull yellow-white colour, cloudy; initially coming with some big bubbles which quickly disappear; perfumy nose, aroma of coriander and apple; sweet and slightly acidic with a short apple and sweetish finish - forget this horror

Bottle, Sainsburys. Cloudy yellow. Sweet, fruity aroma. The flavour is very sweet and fruity with some spice. The flavours do not go together very well, so it is a beer I would not like to revisit.

Nice enough pour, cloudy pale yellow with a whopper of a head thats soon gone. Aroma is sweet, wheaty and if apples are there well they’re well hidden, flavour does have a bit of wheat beer about it but it’s too sweet.

Bottle (from Sainsburys, BBE Dec 06). Lots of different aromas going on not all complementary, apples, yeast, standard fruity wheat bits and spices perhaps cinnamon.Quite sweet with a rounded feel to it much like some apple juices. Quite interesting (in places) but doesnt really work for me.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2006 330ml bottle from Sainsbury. Cloudy pale gold with creamy white head.. Blanche wheat beer and apple aroma. Too sweet in mouth. Apple is not integrated and wanders around as if lost. The rest is a standard wheat beer. Would be very refreshing on a hot summers day, but on a wet February afternoon it is sickly sweet apple on the end that dominates
