COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This meade is part of our reserve (by request only) selection, that is meades that we feel are perhaps a little odd for the main stream or too difficult to make in larger quantities. This one is both. A blend of Wildflower, Clover, Alphalpha, and Buckwheat honeys this mead was blended in 2005, moved to sleep in 30 liter american oak casks and finally to the bottle without filtration. The result is a thick, sweet warming meade with gamey and bourbon notes.

2005 Vintage. Pours a nice orange hue. Aromas of fresh cut honey comb, lightly alcoholic with hints of vanilla. Flavor is rich, bold, and sweet. Huge honey notes. Loads of earthy wonderful Buckwheat honey. Mild vanilla notes and hints of oak and alcohol. The flavor is so intensely awesome and its so thick you can almost chew it. This is world class stuff right here. Damn!

GRB 4th anniversary. Pour dark golden copper. Aroma honey, oak, almost a peat smell, other spices. Taste well balanced like a big hit of scotch but much more mellow, honey, spices, oak age terrific. MF thick syrupy. Overall my first mead tried and man was it a tasty one cheers!
