2014 on tap at CBM jimbocho. Hasy golden orange color with quickly dissipating off-white head. Nice citrus, pineapple and yeast notes on the nose. Nice tart initial taste that mellows into a sweetness as it warms. More tropical fruit on the palate with solid malt. Slightly sweet finish with a refreshing quality.

Tap at Ant ’n Bee, Roppongi. Deep golden color, small white head. Light fruity nose, perhaps hints of passion fruit. Light-bodied. Flavor is fruity. Passion fruit and light green apple. Some earthy hoppyness in the finish. Pale malty. Sweetish, low bitterness apa.

From a plastic cup @ Japan Brewers Cup Festival 2014. Pours quite pale and clear. Aroma has some interesting character - not sure if it is coming from yeast or from hops. Flowery, sweet and floral, almost feels like smelling flowers. Taste is also quite soft and flowery. Has a decent malt base and a bitter aftertaste - although overall maybe a bit too sweet for my taste. I wouldn’t want to session it though.

Bottle to plastic cup. Hazy gold, short lived head. Muted, musky nose of smoky hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Started a little on the sour side but opened up nicely as it warmed. Quite delicious.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Light amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly citrus fruity, nice maltiness. Taste is good. Little bit sparkly, malty with a touch of citrus bitterness. Really easy drinking. Nothing sticks out, just a good balanced taste.

Tap at Q-Brick. Malty nose with orange, some caramel and chocolate, bread, grass. Nice hops. Orange-brown with a medium fine head. Big caramel and chocolate flavor, orange and grass. Too much caramel malt, but still nice enough. Sweet, and it works well with the orange hop flavors. Nice grassy edge, good bitterness. Not very summery.
