2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml can courtesy of Cuso. Thanks. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is indistinct and muddled with sweet malt sand some dust. The flavor is more sweet barley malts with a touch of red fruits. The palate was somewhat thin and water and the carbonation was soft. This finishes short and clean. Overall: My First Hungary rate--prost.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
03/08 A 0.5 l bottle. It poured clear reddish-brown body with tiny head. No bubbles visible in its body. Decent toast, caramel and hay aroma. Flavor is caramel driven, not sweet, lightly herbal bitter, but mostly weighed out with some bread grainy malts. Interestingly, sparkling feel on palate, relatively thin in body with moderate toffee and bread finish. Gets boring with every other sip somehow. Not bad, but could be better, even for a macro.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a translucent amber with an enormous fist sized head that eventually dies down to a 1 finger head that doesn’t go away. Aromas of caramel, toffee, biscuit. Taste is very bread-like, minimal bittering hops. Pretty watery mouthfeel. Bland. Good as an extra, but I wouldn’t seek this out.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml can from somewhere in Budapest. Pours a crystal clear amber colored body with an inch thick, foamy and frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is metallic with a bit of DMS and a trace amount of caramel. Flavor is similar. A light caramel note with some metallic, grassy hops and some DMS. Finishes dry and somewhat bitter before leaving a medium length, metallic aftertaste. Light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, not terrible, but definitely not very good. Metallic with a few vegetal notes to go along with a touch of caramel and a hint of grass. Eh.
