Light yellow colored, vanishing white head. Clean fruity aroma with sweetness. Thin to medium bodied. Expected this to be even more dull: clean, fruity flavor with some esters and some dryness in aftertaste, with mild hops.

Bottled. Pale golden, sparkling beer with a dense, decent white head. Nice lacings. Grain and hay in the aroma, with some floral notes. Weak, grassy and lightly grainy flavor with some metallic notes in the finish. Some hops too. Thin body. (060729)

Bottle, 50cl. A golden beer with a small and disappearing white head. Light hoppy aroma with notes of plastic. Flavour is watery and a little bitter. I can´t understand why this is one of the more popular beers in Hungary. Refreshing but not very good.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2006 0.5l can courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!).
Pale yellow colour, huge fluffy white head that went away fast leaving scattered lacing. Oooh, original... Ok sharp(ish) malt and dust aroma, very weak hints of skunk. Taste... watery, but interesting, at least more so than the last x Hungarian pale lagers I’ve had. Hints of apple, corn, malty, countered with sharp, crude and industrial hoppy bitterness. It’s bad, sure, but I’ve had worse, even today.

KnutAlbert (4587) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 7, 2005
Canned Hungarian lager in a quasi-heraldic can with lots of gold on it. No boquet, no hops. A commercial, cheap thirst-quencher. Sweetish, maize-like taste.
