Sweet and near full bodied with rounded rather soft mouthfeel. Plenty of butterscotch. Cottony, warming and thoroughly pleasant, but not very complex. sayravai (3224), Helsinki, Finland Jul 12, 2008 (Bottled) Dark brown with a small head. Slightly sour, very malty aroma with licorice. Sourish-salty, roasted-malty flavor with medium bitterness. Medium-bodied, low-carbonated palate. Slightly thinner than a doppelbock, but that was to be expected. Quite nice.
