Bottled at RBESG 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and fruit, leading to a dry fruity finish. The alcohol burns in the throat.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy amber golden with a creamy beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body with a low carbonation and sweetish caramel malt combined with overripe fruit. Almost no bitterness. A solid and pleasant Bock. 290608

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Cloudy dark amber, small head. Caramelly nose. Warming with husky caramelly malt flavour. Hugely malty with balanced sweetness and cottony soft mouthfeel. Full bodied. Not very complex - it’s all caramelly malt flavours, but very good.

Bottled@Monks Cafe, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is raisins, malts, mild caramel and some hops. Also quite nutty as it warms up. Flavour is hops, sweet caramel malts along with raisins and mild notes of alcohol. Interesting doppelbock.

Bottle at RBESG08 Grand tasting. Alround rating: A malty beast, alc relitivly well hidden, but lacking balance if quite drinkable, unexciting though.

Bottle (RBESG 2008): Chestnut-amber coloured, cloudy; deep sweet-grainy nose, a bit nutty too, combined with traces of hops; deep sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet-grainy finish, balanced by a hoppy bitterness. Satisfying stuff............
