COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Arboga höstlaget är en ljus lager i tjeckisk stil. Fin maltighet, tydliga smöriga toner och en välbalanserad humlebeska.

larsga (6177) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2012
Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Caramelly fruity grainy aroma with spicy buttery notes. Dry-sweet raisiny cinnamon taste with grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry caramel and wet cardboard aftertaste, which turns into long, lingering harsh bitterness with buttery traces. Nearly a very good beer, but it falls off at the end. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget Nordstan, Göteborg.)

Arboga can make decent beer. This is however not one of them. It lacks just about everything. It’s a thin weak soup with only hints of hops and malt, some sugar that doesn’t aim right. Good job the comment about it is in swedish, the czechs would sew them if they knew.

rarbring (1317) - Linköping, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2012
Aroma: A faint malt nuance, some dusty nuts.
Appearance: A straw colored brew, a white high head that leaves good lacing, small curtains.
Taste: Starting sweet white bread, boiled corn, alcohol.
Palate: Little carbonation, rather smooth, slightly sticky, some dryness.
Overall: Very dull and bland.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-09-25.

Bottled from Systembolaget Golden with a small, brief head. Sweet, slightly buttery aroma. Way too sweet flavour and too low bitterness. Buttery.

330 ml bottle. 20. BB 22 Jul 2013. (Systembolaget) Arjeplog, Sweden. Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Aroma, which is mild, is manure and malt. Flavour is almost as tempting. Darkish malt, sugar and manure. Not my idea of good autumn lager. Smakfull svensk klassiker my ass... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget in Mölndal. BB 22 Jul 2013, sampled on September 17, 2012.
Clear pale golden color, fairly big lasting white head. Malty, sweet, grainy, hints of vegetables and butterscotch scent. Sweet, some esters, sort of fruity, dryish finish taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

Bottle at home in Skövde. Clear pale golden beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Hoppy, fruity flavour with some bitterness. A bit thin but still drinkable.

Sample at a tasting. Very mild smell with the usual industrial lager aromas. Similar taste. I wonder if this differs much from the normal Arboga beer
