Oct 5, 2003 The aroma is malty sweet with notes of caramel and straws - very nice. The color is clear amber and it has a fine beige head. The flavor is malty sweet with notes of burnt caramel, straws, and nuts. In the middle it turns a little watery - weird considering the 6% ABV. But in the end it gains strength with some good malt bitterness that gives way for a burnt dryness. A very nice and complex beer. Thanks to Per.

Aug 21, 2003 Light copper coloured beer with a small head. Slightly roasted malty aroma and taste. Rather plain and uninteresting.
pilsnerrogge (1548), Finspång, Sweden
May 1, 2003 Amber colour. Medium head. malty aroma with a little bit of hops. Roasty malt-flavour with some more hops. Somewhat unbalanced.
Boystout (824), Chisinau, Moldova
Apr 10, 2003 Nice seasonal brew with very distinctive (wheat?) aroma and great "bockish" body. Intensively malty, spicy and complex.

Apr 4, 2003 Bottled. Dark amber with fine head. Dusty, fruity aroma. Sweet and raisiny, actually rather malty. Decent bitterness. Surprisingly non-awful.
