Bottle at home. Pale golden with a creamy white head, fine lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel) and hoppy (floral). Medium sweet and bitter. Light to medium body. To me this is a steam beer.

Maria (10121) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2009
It is golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, light rubber and cabbage. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light flower and the finish has a slightly dry, light bitterness.

Marsiblursi (2989) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2009
(Bottle) Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. The aroma holds notes of hay and caramel/cookie-like toast up front. Light floral and fruity (too fruity for a lager). Some dried apricots and black tea with honey. The nose is nice, but I like my Lager less malty and more on the hoppy side. The flavour is light sweet and light bitter. Bready and light caramelly malt. Light floral and resinous hops. The mouthfeel is clean with rounded edges. The soft carbonation plays well with the stable maltiness. Medium bodied. Is this really Arboga/Carlsberg beer?

OleR (4757) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2009
500 ml bottle. Golden colored with good clarity. Big, short-lived white head. Sweetish malt nose. Faint caramel and a note of hayish hops. A well prononced, fairly sweet malt body backed by a moderate, grassy hop bitterness. Also a note of toffe and some sourish/peaty tones. Body is light plus. Finishes on the drier side. Overall a decent macrolager.

Bottle. High fluffy and lasting white head. Slightly hazy yellow body. Mild barley malt aroma with heavy notes of hay and a bit of caramel. Sweet and watery hay caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

Gusgus (232) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 24, 2009
Bottle. RateBeer wrongfully claims this to be made by Carlsberg. It’s made for Galateas Three Towns Brewery by Jämtland. Something has gone wrong with this brew. Aroma is distinctly smokey and burnt with a sour and rubbery note. Flavor is likewise. Quite simply a less-than-well made pale lager.

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Clear golden with an off-white head. Solid malty nose. Medium body, malty with surprisingly distict notes of smoke. Dry finish. 120609
