Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a deep, dark brown with a thick, creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet roast and a little phenols in the nose. Medium body, rich sweet roast with vanilla notes. The coconut comes late, but it’s there. No real bitterness. 050413

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, coconut and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 050413

Bottle, 5.8%. Very dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, chocolate, caramel and coconut. Flavour is roasted malts, medium sweet, chocolate, caramel, little over carbonated and coconut.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, lactose sugar, chocolate, coconuts, caramel and hops.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A black beer with red fruit, chocolate and sweet coconut flavours with creamy vanilla and a slight roasted finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is malty with a little fruit. The flavour is medium bitter, with liqourice, coffee and dark chocolate, but the coconut wasn’t hugely evident. It was a little creamy though.

Black with a thick, sticky, lasting, clingy, beige head. Smells of deep roast, chocolate, coffee, and a bit of hops. Light thin watery body. Tastes of roast with liquorish with a finish that has a bit of coconut. I find the finish filled with black liquorish to the point that I don’t like it. Started nice but finished all disbalanced.

Sampled from bottle @ Deanso. Opaque pitch black color, small to medium fairly quickly diminishing beige to light brown head. Smell malts, lots of roastyness. Taste malts, roasty, some bitter. Decent beer imo.

Bottle shared at The Deanso sucky music tasting. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, light toffee, light coconut, roasted and Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
