On gravity at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 29/04/2011. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma with a touch of sweetness. Flavour of biscuit malts, more orange fruit and a touch of caramel, leading to a dry finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at the Euston Tap. Clear amber beer, short white head. Light dry palate. Mild minerals. Nice hops, sweetish orange marmalade. Mild bitterness kicks in briefly. A little red berry fruits underneath. Finishes dry with medium bitter linger.

Quite sweet, hints of biscuit and caramel. A little bit cloying. Not bad, but not really my thing.

Really nice copper coloured beer. Nicely hopped with a touch of caramel sweetness and biscuity malt flavours. I like their beers and this one is no exception.

Scopey (1658) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2011
Cask at the Claret Free House. It pours clear dark amber, with a thick foamy beige head and low carbonation. The nose is wood, sweaty sock, weak lemon and dust. The taste is wood, astringent, leather, lemon, dust and grass, with a dry, woody finish.

On cask. Amber, cear, small white head. Fruity, citrus and grainy aromas. Biscuity flavour from the malt, with a well rounded citrus from the hops. Dry-ish finish. A pleasing beer
