3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 hennes (932) - Fountain, USA - JUN 13, 2002
Yup, tourette, my original rate of this brew last August sold it way short. Of course, I was a wheat beer novice then. Now I find the citrusy PLUS estery blast of this brew huge and wonderful. It can’t compare with the ABC alt, but it is top notch fare, to be sure.

Pour from bottle. Hazy, dark yellow. Too much banana for my taste. A little too heavy on the palate for a wheat beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jimmay (735) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 10, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours nine golden in colour, with nice fine frothy head that leaves tonnes of lacing. Nice banana aroma, some wheat, and similar taste. Pretty good hefe!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Pawola22 (2198) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2011
12oz bottle from The Beer Depot in Ann Arbor, MI. Pours a cloudy, golden-orange colored body with an inch thick, dense and foamy, white head that collapses slowly and leaves a moderate, soapy lacing. Aroma is grainy wheats with a light sweetness as well as a decent clove, banana, and light citrus. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened, grainy wheats up front with some banana, clove, a light bubblegum, and a touch of citrus. Finishes clean and dry with a bit of an increased clove before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium body and a higher carbonation. Overall, a decent hefe. Easy drinking and well balanced. Nothing special, but not bad.

Bottle in Detroit. Cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with a small white head. Orange citrusy, moderate banana and clove, somewhat spicy, wheat malty aroma. Tangy, slightly citrusy tart, mildly spicy, light to moderate banana and clove flavor. Not a fan of the tangy quality.

12 oz bottle that pours like a classic hefeweizen with a little settlement in the bottle. Pours a nice orang color with a small hint of banana aroma. A decent summer hefe.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jrallen34 (3445) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2011
I had this at the brew pub as part of a sampler. A definite middle of the road beer for them, below average craft beer...nice look to this beer, very cloudy neonish color yellow. The aroma is a little too clovey and is the downfall of this beer. The taste balances things out with a little sourness that is unexpected. Bring down the clove and I’d give it another shot.
