Draft… RBSG 2010… Cloudy golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. The aroma offers clove, smoke, banana and pink bubblegum… too much clove phenol. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with prickly carbonation. Well balanced flavor. Banana and pink bubblegum stand out. Mild clove here, along with subtle acidity. Crisp, fairly clean, refreshing finish.

On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Hazy golden brown pour has a thin white head. Fruity, tart, bitter grapefruit citrus aroma has lots of yeasty coriander and clove spice. Starts lightly sweet, bready and yeasty with good authenticity, but perhaps a little too much citrus and clove character.

Bottle shared by ryan. Clear honey straw colored body with a small film of a white head. Nose of syrupy honey malt, wet wheat, weird banana and oranges. Slick, wet, medium to heavy body for the style, but not thick. Light banana and lemon flavors throughout, but somewhat detached and seemingly artificial tasting… nothing special.

12 ounce bottle from mibirder. Thanks! Pours a very inappropriate crystal clear orange color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. There was some yeast hiding in the bottle that did not come out on the initial pour, giving the beer a sight haze. Aroma is bread and caramel apples. Taste is bread, citrus, apple and light spice. Lightly tart finish. Thin bodied. Lightweight overall.

Draft @ Coles in Buffalo. Orangey pastel body with not much head. Touch of white lacing on the glass. Muted moderately yeasty aroma, the usual banana and cloves are there but muddied and muted. Light citrusy notes to a yeasty flavour, with moderate bitterness, sweet malty middle. Average palate is a touch under carbonated.
