Nice fruit and spice induced nose with a sour ending. Weak white head. Pours a very cloudy light orange in color. Lots and lots of suspended gunk. I better let this funk settle down before I proceed. Fruit and spicy taste a Belgian ale. The taste grows on you by the bottom of the glass. P.S. - Just read the carton indicating to pour 2/3 of the beer, then mix the unfiltered stuff in the remainder of the bottle, then add to your glass.

Sep 6, 2008 Kind of ugly, dirty yellow color. Lightly tart, with a crisp body. Prominent tastes are sweet malts (cookie and caramel) with a little bit of coriander and lemon thrown in. Aftertaste of spice and sugar lingers.

Sep 3, 2008 on tap-pours a disappearing white head and cloudy straw color. Aroma is mild light/medium malt/wheat, some citrus/banana. Taste is mild light/medium malt/wheat, some citrus/banana, herbal. Mild carbonation.

Aug 3, 2008 bottle. golden pour with minimal white head...aroma of wheat, clove, citrus, and banana...flavor is very much the same with large banana and lemon...clove is somewhat of an overkill in this beer as well

Jul 26, 2008 Bottle: Not a bad hefeweizen, but a little too sweet. Pours yellow with no head. Aroma of spices and citrus. Flavor of sugar, bananas and lemon.
