3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle @ Belmont Party Supply / Ann Arbor MI --- Cloudy dirty medium amber color, ivory head that drops to a thick cover, bands of lace. Taste is caramel malt, medium fizz, and assertive hops that have citrus and pine overtones. Strong brew, but balanced and enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Forgettable, but fine IPA. Heavy grapefruit and pine. Pretty big and malty and caramel. Almost a double. Probably suffered a bit that I drank it after ninja v unicorn.

On cask at Slows BBQ pours a hazy orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has honey, grist, orange juice, pine. Flavor is sweet with OJ and honey and grist, mild soap, lemon-lime soda. Sticky finish.

1.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle, with a big fresh IPA perfumy aroma. Quite strong kick in the mouth with all its bitter IPA charming personality. Yes, let’s think about chewing on green grapefruit rind and then washing it down with a little turpentine and pine tree sap. So terribly on rude style it approaches double imperial IPA territory, wewwie. Will somebody please get me a macro lager to wash this down with?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Possibly an older bottle. Pours a murky apple cider tone with a substantial and lasting head. Nose of mineral yeast, caramel malt, apricot, honey, and faded hops. Flavor has some gently toasted malt, dried apricot, yellow raisin, rind bitterness. I must admit, imagining it as a fresh bottle, it has a very sturdy malt presence to uphold the hops. Yet in this bottle, it seems so faded. The familiar metallic yeasty nose of an old beer wafts ignonimously from the glass and to your palate. It’s a shame I waited so long to try it. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle from DrSilverworm - thanks again, Chris! Pours a hazy reddish orange amber with a small off-white head that settles into a ring and spotty film. Notes of caramel, brown sugar, toast, straw, grass, muddled fruits, earth - not much in the way of hops. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a malty, dry, oxidized mouthfeel. Drinks like an old amber ale.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle@home, from Wine Spot, Cleveland, USA. Strong pungent aroma with slightly overaged fruits and berries. Deep orange/copper color with small/medium natural white head and hazy liquid. Medium bit bitter taste with slightly overaged fruits and berries. Unbalanced. Narrow/medium taste spectrum and long, hoppy aftertaste with earthy flavors of fruits. Medium/light body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, organic but messy product where the aroma promised much more.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Donnie. Dark pour for IPA. Another fruity caramel bomb. Not my thing with IPAs. And not West Coast, for sure.
