3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy light amber with a lingering off white frothy head. Nose is fairly complex with a mixed malt and hop character. Pines, citrus, resins, fruits, spicy hops, white pepper, grapefruit marmalade, pretty strong caramel malt character, some toasty malts as well and slightly sweet on the nose. Flavor is similar with a spicy hop and toasty caramel character. Maybe this bottle wasn’t overly fresh but thats the nature of the beast when picking bottles off the shelf. Seems like it would be a good beer at the source.

On tap. Light amber/yellow hue with a white head. Aroma has notes of citrus, tropical fruits, caramel and cereal malts. Medium body with an average carbonation. Overall a really tasty IPA. Surprised me with this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: juicy hops. Very enticing. Appearance: light golden pour with a two finger head. Taste: grapefruit with small malty undertones. Straight up delicious. Palate: bittering hops linger on the tounge. Overall: I’ve avoided this beer for sometime for unknown reasons. This beer will now be in the rotation. I have been missing out. Shame on me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a darker gold color with a bit of fog that prevents you from seeing through it. There is a couple fingers of rocky head that fades pretty slowly, and leaves a little lacing on the glass. The aroma has some grassy notes, and a lot of citrus on the nose. There is a subtle hoppiness, and it's a little different than I expected. The flavor is just as citrusy and hoppy, with the grassy notes are a little more prominent. It's not a bad IPA, though there are better out there.
