garthicus (595), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 20, 2008 Brown bottle - Red cap- Pours a wonderful rust-brown colour with an off white - scrambled egg colour head some small amounts of yeast(?) floating in there too. The aroma is of malt-hops-honey-toffee-chai latte, beautiful. Flavour: Malt and toffee with a hint of coffee, alcohol is well disguised too, it has a short dry finish. Cracking little beer
jeffwilliams11 (304), hooterville, Michigan, USA May 31, 2008 holy carb bomb batman. this beer took me like 15 minutes to pour. smells fruity and a little hoppy. adide from the carb issues, this is a very good beer. Ofortuna (318), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA May 8, 2008 From my backlog. Very little carbonation. Dish soap with an odd sweetness underneath. Oxidized aroma and flavour. Yum, cardboard! I’m trying my best to pick out what in the world they were trying to do here. I get a little nuttiness and light notes of some pine in what used to be a more pronounced hop aroma and bitterness. An experiment gone horribly wrong. blankboy (2687), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 1, 2008 Bottle courtesy of swoopjones. Pours reddish-brown with a massive lasting foamy beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, some chocolate and very light earthy hops. Flavour’s malty (roasty caramel) along with fruit, spices, alcohol and earthy hops, slightly metallic or tangy or something. Average bitter finish. Overly carbonated. Medium bodied. Just O.K., seems slightly infected. GregClow (2369), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 30, 2008 Bottle courtesy of swoopjones. Dirty brown with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of roasted/toasted malt and earthy hops - not super complex, just really nice, and very American in style, if that makes sense. Medium mouthfeel. Flavour of slightly charred malt, a hint of roasted coffee, the earthy hops suggested by the aroma, warm finish. Solid stuff.
