Slight hazy sun yellow body. Neat bakery fresh citrus nose. Initial taste of sharp Golden Grapefruit hop and a neat resinous pine throughout the finish, heaved along by an impressive CO2. Enjoyably dry finish and bitty citrus in the linger.
Overall a really solid IPA, rare to see the balance of a standard bitter resin finish with the Citrus burst of a modern IPA. Whether this was intentional or not, would love to have a stab at this on cask.

Old Fountain. Very slight haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, low carbonation. Sweet citrus and bitter pine in good balance. The pine becomes aggressive towards the finish and grassy and mild skunk comes in. The citrus becomes more tangy. Mild minerals. Good long bitter linger.

Leighton (10698) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2012
Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a wimpy, white foam head. Lots of lightly toasted, doughy pale malts on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with plenty of doughy bread, some mild orange citrus, dry grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes lightly dry but also somewhat resinous, with pale malts, dough, orange, some citrus rind, light pine. A pleasant beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 21/11/2012. Golden in colour with a decent, white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pineapple with some grassy hops. Flavour had more tropical fruits, some solid, slightly earthy malts, leading to a dryish finish with a hint of pine. Enjoyable.
